Walking Together for a Cause: Supporting the I Am Empowered Domestic Violence Awareness Walk

This October, my wife, Gina, and I will be participating in the 4th Annual I Am Empowered Domestic Violence Awareness Walk, organized by The I Am House.
We are participating for a simple reason: no one experiencing domestic violence should have to search for safety, support, and a path forward alone.
Organizations working directly with survivors and families play an important role in providing emergency assistance, safety planning, resources, and support during what can be an extraordinarily difficult transition. Walking alongside others on October 10 is one small way for us to stand behind that work and help bring greater attention to the issue.
Gina has set a fundraising goal of $750 in support of the effort, and I am helping her reach it.
If you are able to contribute, we would sincerely appreciate your support. And if donating is not possible, sharing the fundraiser is another meaningful way to help expand its reach.
Every contribution, every share, and every person willing to stand with survivors matters.
