Funding Campaign to Support an Aspiring PuertoRican Swimer: #TeamMariana

Mariana Burgos-Guilfú is an outstanding and aspiring 13-year-old athlete. She belongs to the Puerto Rico National Swimming Team and will soon be representing Puerto Rico, as in previous years, in the Central American and Caribbean Amateur Swimming Championships in San Salvador, El Salvador (August 13-19, 2023). The cost of the competition must be borne by the athlete, for which he counts on his contributions to achieve his dream, this year and the next.

Among the expenses that must costed by Mariana so she can participate in this international swimming event are the following:

  • Airfare ($1005)

  • Lodging ($930)

  • Uniforms ($400)

  • Travel Insurance ($70)

These costs are without considering those related to attending practice sessions in preparation for the swimming event.

We count on your support so that Mariana achieves her dream of representing Puerto Rico.

Thankfully,

Kenneth Burgos Cora and Dalmarie Guilfú (Mariana’s parents)
